NSW immigration is accepting for NSW nomination for the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491), opened on Monday 15 June 2020 and will stop accepting applications at 5pm Friday 26 June 2020.
Applications will be assessed by the end of the financial year; Tuesday 30 June 2020.
Who can apply?
Only candidates who meet all the requirements below will be able to submit an application.
If you do not meet these requirements, we strongly urge you not to apply as your application will be declined.
The NSW nomination fee of $330 is not refundable.
Requirements
Important update: NSW has removed the 12 month living and working requirement and currently only requires the below to apply:
You can only apply for NSW nomination if you meet Department of Home Affairs’ requirements for the 491 visa and:
- have an occupation on the NSW Stream 1 Regional Skilled Occupation List (see below), and;
- are currently living in a designated regional area of NSW
If you do not meet all of these requirements, you are not able to apply for NSW nomination.
