Student visa fees
The Student (Sc 500) and Student guardian (Sc 590) visa applications will be increased more than CPI, from 1 July 2026, the first instalment of the VAC for certain Student and Student Guardian visa applications will be increased from $2,000 to $2,500.
Pacific Island and Timor-Leste applicants will retain access to concessional VACs and will not be subject to the student and student guardian VAC uplift.
Student Visa (Subclass 500) – Visa Application Charge (VAC):
