Employer Sponsored Visa Application Costs in Australia (ENS visa Fees)

Below is the DoHA fees Guide Regarding the Government Costs Involved in Making an Employer Sponsored Visa Application:

Visa Type fees notes
SID 482 visa Application Fee see details This application is made up of three parts:

  • Sponsorship fee: $420
  • Nomination fee: $330

SID 482 Visa Application Charges

  • Primary Applicant: $4,015
  • Adult Dependent: $4,015
  • Child Dependent: $1,005

A subsequent temporary application charge of $700 per applicant may be payable if the applicant has previously lodged certain temporary visas whilst in Australia

407 Trainee Visa Application Fee see details This application is made up of three parts:

  • Sponsorship fee: $420
  • Nomination fee: $170
  • Visa Application fee: $535 for the main applicant,
  • $535 for a partner (and any child over 18) and $135 for each child under 18 years of age

A subsequent temporary application charge of $700 per applicant may be payable if the applicant has previously lodged certain temporary visas whilst in Australia

186 Visa Permanent Employer Nominated Scheme (ENS) – Visa Application Fee see details This application is made up of two parts:

  • Position nomination fee: $540 (waived where the sponsor is in a regional area and the application is for a Temporary Resident Transition visa)
  • Visa Application fee: $6,140 for the main applicant,
  • Visa Application fee: $3,070 for a partner (and any child over 18) and
  • Visa Application fee: $1,535 for each child under 18 years of age
186 Visa Permanent Employer Nominated Scheme (ENS) – Direct Entry Stream – Skill Assessment see details All ENS Direct Entry Stream applicants must undertake a skill assessment as part of the application process.
494 visa Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) see details Visa Application fee:

  • $6,140 for the main applicant,
  • $3,070 for a partner (and any child over 18) and
  • $1,535 for each child under 18 years of age
400 visa Temporary Work (Short Stay Activity) see details Visa Application fee:

  • $535 for the main applicant,
  • $535 for a partner (and any child over 18) and
  • $135 for each child under 18 years of age

*The 400 visa is not an employer-sponsored visa, but it does require support from an Australian employer.

187 VISA – Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS) – Direct Entry Stream see details This fee ranges from $0 – $750 and is payable directly to the Regional Certification Board in the relevant region.

Some RSMS Direct Entry applicants need to undertake a skill assessment as part of the application process.

English test (if required) Approx. $475 This fee is payable directly to the English testing centre.
Medical Examination Approx. $400-$450 per person This fee is payable for each person included in your application and must be paid directly to the doctor conducting your examination.
Police Checks see details This fee is payable to the police authorities in the countries where you have lived for 12 months or more.
Translation of Documents (if required) see details This fee is payable to the person responsible for certifying / translating your documents.

Management of your 186 or 187 visa (Direct Entry – a skill assessment is required) –  by a VisaENVOY Registered Migration Agent $5,500 to $6,500 paid in two parts Your case is managed by a VisaEnvoy Migration Lawyer or Registered Migration Agent. The fee will include paperwork for the sponsor as well as the nominee. We take care of the Standard Business Sponsorship (SBS) approval, the nomination and the visa application.
Management of your 186 or 187 visa (Temporary Resident Transition or a 187 (Direct Entry – no skill assessment) by VisaENVOY Lawyer or Registered Migration Agent $4,400 to $5400 paid in two parts Your case is managed by a VisaEnvoy Migration Lawyer or Registered Migration Agent. The fee will include paperwork for the sponsor as well as the nominee. We take care of the Standard Business Sponsorship (SBS) approval, the nomination and the visa application.
Management of your 400 temporary work (short stay activity) visa by VisaENVOY Lawyer or Registered Migration Agent $1,000 to $1,800 paid in two parts Your case is managed by a VisaEnvoy Migration Lawyer or Registered Migration Agent.
