How to lodge an application:

Visa applicants must apply for the Visitor (subclass 600) visa electronically through the Department of Home Affairs’ (Home Affairs) ImmiAccount portal. This is the single point of entry into the Home Affairs’ online visa services. Please submit your visa application according to the steps below.

It is critical to the success of your visa application that you answer all questions on the application form and supply all the requested supporting documents. Failure to do so could result in a significant delay or refusal of the visa application.

Important – visa lodgement:

It is strongly recommended that applicants apply 6-8 weeks of their intended travel dates of travel to ensure timely visa processing.

Home Affairs cannot guarantee that a visa will be finalised in time for the event if there are delays in lodging an application for a subclass 600 Visitor visa, or where an applicant does not respond to a request for further information in a timely manner.

Step 1 – Log into your ImmiAccount

Log into your ImmiAccount

Note: Each person travelling to Australia must submit a separate visitor visa application.

If this is your first time logging in, please create a new ImmiAccount. See below steps to learn how to create an ImmiAccount here.

Step 2 – Applying for a Visitor Visa subclass 600

Click ‘Login’ – ‘Continue’ – ‘New application’

Select ‘Visitor’ then select ‘Visitor Visa (600)’

Select the checkbox to indicate that you accept the terms and conditions and click next

Application Context page:

Confirm that you are Outside Australia by selecting “yes” and click next.

Use ‘LSECKY’ as the Group ID to lodge you application as part of a group.

Applicant’s information page:

Please complete the details (per your passport bio-data page).

Please fill in the following information according to the your actual situation.
National identity card is your ‘Aadhaar Card‘.

Critical data confirmation page:

Please confirm information entered is correct.

Travelling companion’s page:

If travelling with other person applicant to list each person travelling with you by clicking the ‘Add’ button.

Note: Each person travelling to Australia must submit a separate visitor visa application. This includes children and other family members. Listing a person’s name on this page does NOT mean that the person has applied for a visa.

Click on ‘Add’ and complete the below page:

From the option list, select the term that best describes the relationship. If you are being accompanied by your wife/husband please select ‘Spouse/De Facto Partner’.

Contact information page:

Provide your contact details

Authorised recipient page:

Provide details of the authorise recipient if any. Click ‘No’ if  you apply for it by yourself.

Non-accompanying members of the family unit page:

List your members of their family unit who are not travelling to Australia.

Member of the family unit’ typically refers to the applicant’s spouse/De Facto Partner and children.

Entry to Australia:

Provide details of the proposed period of stay in Australia

Visa applicant’s current overseas employment:

Provide details of your current employment.

Please provide information about your employer, Lenovo.

Financial Support:

Choose ‘Supported by current overseas employer’

Type of support – Choose ‘Other’

Please copy and paste the following in the box:

Includes the following components paid for by Lenovo: Economy class flights; 3 nights’ accommodation at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort; 3 dinners including a Gala Dinner; Option for guests to participate in a CSR; Group charter to the Great Barrier Reef.

Business Activities:

Provide details of the proposed business activity in Australia.

Applicants may provide the event organisers details on this page, even if it is an overseas event organiser

Declaration pages:

The declaration pages require a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ response to each question. You need to read each declaration carefully and respond according to each visa applicant’s personal circumstances.

Visa history:

*Has the applicant held or does the applicant currently hold a visa to Australia or any other country? the question is about travel history and speaks in a very general way about whether you have ever held a visa. Please write a very limited statement addressing this criteria, realising the question has limited length. For example:

“I have previously travelled to Australia in 2012, 2014 and 2024. In the last ten years I have travelled extensively to Turkey, Jordan, Tunisia, UAE, Saudi Arabia on visitor visas and I have travelled to the Netherlands and France on a Schengen visas. In the past I studied in the United States, and had a student visa and then a ten year visitor visa”. The point of the segment is to introduce general information about their visa history and raise any good points about previous compliance.

Step 3 – Attach / Upload documents

As the visa applicant, you must ensure to attach required documents as indicated below. Instructions on how to prepare documents to the visa application can be found via the following link:

Note: If unable to attach all documents, click on ‘Next’ button and on the pop up screen provide a reason why the documentation has not been attached.

It is important to note that the Department of Home Affairs may decide the visa application with the information provided at the time it is lodged, so it is recommended that you provide all the required documentation when submitting a visa application.

Step 4 – Submit Application

Click on “submit now” and you can now pay and submit the visa application for processing.

The current surcharge rates are:

Visa processing times

Once visa lodged, the current service standard for Visitor visa (subclass 600) Business Visitor from the Department of Home Affairs is 0 to 14 days from time of lodgement to time of decision. This may vary and is at the discretion of the Department. The applicant will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
