MARA Registered Agents

Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA) maintains a registry of Registered Immigration Agents (RMAs) to identify the professionals it regulates.

You can check if a person is licensed to represent immigrants or to give advice.

You should only use the services of members with a good standing.

Immigration and citizenship representatives:

  • explain and give advice on your immigration or citizenship options
  • help you choose the best immigration pathway for you
  • complete, guide and submit your immigration or citizenship application
  • communicate with the Government of Australia on your behalf
  • represent you in an immigration or citizenship application or hearing

Standard with all regulatory bodies, the office of MARA fulfills its mandate by:

  • Establishing entry-to-practice requirements of applicants seeking admission into the migration industry
  • Overseeing their professional development and conduct
  • Registering professionals
  • Receiving, investigating and adjudicating complaints
  • Administering a disciplinary process to sanction professionals who fail to meet the authority’s standards.
